Ocean Fanfare investigates and challenges the boundary field between improvisation and composition through the creation of a new coherent work. The focal point of the creative process is a circular compositional method that makes it possible to write a work that incorporates a collective and conversational writing process in substance, form and expression.

Ocean Fanfare is Tomasz Dabrowski - Trumpet, Sven Dam Meinild - Saxophone, Richard Andersson - bass, Peter Bruun - drums. Ocean Fanfare released the ‘Imagine Sound, Imagine Silence’ in 2014 with Tyshawn Sorey behind the drums.
